About Us

Belford Oaks is a 35 place community based, Not for Profit children’s service, established in 1988. Fundamental to our name, we are situated amongst oak trees and central to the local community.

We run a government funded 3 & 4 year old Kindergarten program, incorporated into a long day care setting, catering for children aged from 6 months to 5 years of age. We have 3 rooms within the centre;  babies room (6 month-2 years) which caters to 10 children a day, the toddler room (2-3 years) which also caters to 10 children a day and the kindergarten room (3-5 years) which caters to 15 children per day.

Our Educators are qualified in the early childhood industry and pride themselves on their professionalism.
We are extremely proud of the community that has been created at Belford Oaks with many of our educators having been a part of the Belford Oaks team for many years.

Belford Oaks is over seen by a Committee of Management which consists of parents that utilise the service. The committee serve to empower and support our educators in providing the very best education and care.

At Belford Oaks we are inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach to learning and development; this is reflected in our service through our philosophy, the learning environments and rich curriculum.

As part of our program at Belford Oaks we host weekly incursions for the children, incorporated into our fees. We have Hey Dee Ho a music and movement program for all rooms and Kelly Sports a physical education program once a week for the 2-3’s and the kinder room.
