About Us

Belford Oaks is a 35 place community based, not-for-profit children’s service, established in 1988. Fundamental to our name, we are situated amongst oak trees and central to the local community.

We run a government-funded 3- & 4-year-old Kindergarten program, incorporated into a long day care setting, catering for children aged from 6 months to 5 years of age. We have 3 rooms within the centre:

Our Educators are qualified in the early childhood industry and pride themselves on their professionalism. We are extremely proud of the community that has been created at Belford Oaks with many of our educators having been a part of the Belford Oaks team for many years.

Belford Oaks is overseen by a Committee of Management which consists of parents who utilise the service. The committee serves to empower and support our educators in providing the very best education and care.

At Belford Oaks, we draw inspiration from a range theories and theorists regarding learning and development; this is reflected in our service through our philosophy, the learning environments and rich curriculum.

As part of our program at Belford Oaks we host weekly incursions for the children, incorporated into our fees. We have both Hey Dee Ho (a music and movement program) and Mini Monstars (a physical education program) visit the centre once a week to facilitate a session with all three rooms.
